As a midsize SUV, the 2026 Honda Passport has long been known for its stellar performance and response to driver input. Here are some of the standard and available features for the 2026 model year. Today, the Hall Honda Elizabeth City is taking a moment to preview our favorite new features.

Engine Specifications

Under the hood is a new DOHC 3.5-liter V6 engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The total output is an impressive 285 horsepower. The transmission is the first of its kind for the Honda Passport. The engine sends its output to an i-VTM4™ all-wheel-drive system that delivers up to 40% more torque.

Tech-Heavy Cockpit

The cabin gets several tech upgrades, including a new 12.3-inch touchscreen display along with a 10.2-inch digital driver instrumentation display. The infotainment is compatible with wireless Google™ built-in, Apple CarPlay®, and Android Auto™, all of which come standard.

TrailSport Trim

Perhaps the most impressive new addition is the new Honda Passport TrailSport trim. As you can likely guess, this trim features off-road-friendly features, including steel skid plates and all-terrain tires. It also has a maximum 5,000-pound towing capacity when equipped with the right accessories and has a higher 8.3-inch ground clearance.

Improved Safety Technology

The model receives the brand’s latest Honda Sensing® with a collection of safety and driver assistance features. It also has the latest version of the Honda Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ architecture. With it comes new airbag technology and a new body structure with a 72% increase in lateral rigidity for a more robust crumple zone.
